Ubiquitous Networking Robotics in Urban Settings

I was involved in URUS, an European project whose goal
has been to develop strategies that enable a team of robots to
operate in urban environments in surveillance and
assistance missions. A network of fixed cameras provides
sensing information for the robots. My research in URUS
targeted cooperative active perception using POMDPs. More
