Installing matlab.my

1. Create a folder c:\users2\matlab.my

2. SVN checkout (right mouse click)

svn://svn.isr.ist.utl.pt/jag/matlab.my

            (ask user/pass)

3. Add new directories to the matlab path

            >> cd c:\users2\matlab.my

            >> mtlmyini('install')

            (say yes to create/modify "startup.m", and reboot matlab or run >> matlabrc)

Note: you can choose any other directory instead of c:\users2

Installing matlab.extras

1. Create folder c:\users2\matlab.extras

2. SVN checkout (right mouse click)

svn://svn.isr.ist.utl.pt/jag/matlab.extras

            (same user/pass as matlab.my)

3. Add new directories to the matlab path

            >> cd c:\users2\matlab.extras

            >> matlab_extras_install

            >> matlabrc

Note: you can choose any other directory instead of c:\users2

Creating AVI / XVID

1. Install DIVX codec (freeware/shareware)

2. Install XVID codec (freeware)

3. Test AVI/XVID creation

            >> myavi

            (runs a demo; if successful, then "myavi_demo.avi" is created in the current folder)
