1. Warning, the 3.9KOhm resistors have a 5-band color code. Please understand the color of the multiplier band. The 5-band colors:

orange 3

  white 9

    black 0

      brown 1

        brown 1

390 * 10^1 = 3900 Ohm , +/- 1% tolerance

2. Warning, there are two models of breadboard used in the laboratory

• continuous horizontal lines (top and bottom)
• split in the middle horizontal lines (top and bottom)

3. How to strip a short wire:

needle-nose pliers	European-style wire stripper

• Use the nose pliers to gently hold the wire.
• Use the wire stripper, do not forget to adjust the wire stripper to have enough free area for the metal part of the wire which you want to keep.
